Aatm Nirbhar Bharat Short notes for Group Discussion

On 12 May 2020, the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi announced a special economic package of Rs 20 lakh crores ( equivalent to 10% of India GDP ) with the aim of making country independent against that tough competition in the Global supply chain and to help in empowering the poor labourers and migrants who have been adversely affected by covid pandemic. The economic package benefit all section of the society from migrants labourers to big business.

Definition of MSME is changed by amending the micro small and medium enterprises development Act 2006 and new criteria of annual turnover introduced.

New tag lines such as vocal for local has been introduced.  Aatm nirbhar Bharat stands on five pillars of self reliant India  

Aatm nirbhar Bharat campaign was launched by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making India self reliant Nation it has launched during the announcement of the coronavirus pandemic related economic package in my 2020. it would play an important role in make in India and it would benefit labourers, farmers, honest texspares, MSMEs  and other cottage industry.

for instance borrowing limit of the states has been increased from 3 to 5 % 
Refund of rupees 10000 crore will be set up to support m s m e 
Collateral free loan of upto 3 lakh crore will be provided to business and


Huge package  to Reform the agriculture sector 
new public sector enterprises policy to open up the economy for private sectors
which will inhence Competition, production and accountability of industries.

 in a major Reform space sector has been opened for private companies to collaborate with ISRO.

coal mining sector opened for auction on the revenue sharing basis instead of fixed production 

 government has announced free ration 85 crore people under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana 

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana rental housing hotels would be constructed for migrant labourers, student etc.

What is a constitution ? Discuss its need.

Constitution is a set of document written or unwritten by which governance of a country can be carried out. Need of the Constitution: 1. It brings together people from different groups such as religion, society, philosophy etc. 2. It set the basic structure of the governing machinery of the country such as Legislature, Executive and Judiciary and maintain thier balacne. 3. It defines the power of the government and set limit to it extent. 4. It provide a basic set of rights to the citizens against the tyranny of the government, in order to bring wholesome psycho-social development of the people. 5. It provides the bedrock platform for the democracy to thrive, which is in essence is very basic need to have the constitution. Thus, constitution is very much needed for justice, liberty, equality, fraternity, freedom, ideals which are enshrined in the preamble of the Indian constitution.
