Effective Tips to Crack any exam Easily

Effective Tips to Crack any exam

  • Understanding concepts: Clearing the basics is the most important step for clearing any competitive examination. Your concepts need to be crystal clear, and you should know how to apply each of these concepts for attempting the application-based questions.
  • Focussing more on the complex topics: You should start your preparation with the most challenging topics as these require the maximum amount of effort and mental energy. As you are starting with a fresh mind, you will be able to devote your full attention to these topics. Once you are relieved of the stress of finishing the most difficult topics, you can complete the remaining topics with ease. This pattern of studying will improve the effectiveness of your study sessions.
  • Making maximum use of group study sessions: Studying alone for long hours confined in your room or at one corner of the library can be straining. You can do away with the boredom by studying in groups. The advantage of studying in a group is that students can cover multiple topics in less time as the group members are there to teach the confusing topics to other members.
  • Making notes while studying: The IITians have a habit of sitting with a notebook while studying so that they can note down those points which are important from the examination perspective. If you are in the habit of making notes, not only these notes will help you in remembering things better, but also you will have the perfect material for last-minute revision.
  • Being consistent in your preparation: The most important habit which distinguishes the IITians from the rest is that the former are consistent in their preparation. There is no use in studying will full dedication for the first six months and then becoming complacent. If you want to qualify JEE, you will have to be consistent in your approach.
  • Reviewing the study notes and assignments: Revision plays a very crucial role in your preparation. If you keep on compiling facts and concepts in your brain without revising them, you will hardly be able to recall any of this stored information during the time of the examination.
  • Dropping the habit of procrastination: If you think that if you can delay things even for one day and manage it later, you are falling into the vicious cycle of procrastination. Not being able to finish the work on time and being overburdened with assignments will make you feel frustrated. So, it is better to stick to a timetable, where you develop a habit of completing the daily tasks on time.
  • Cutting down on entertainment: Everyone will tell you to refrain from the use of social media and stop watching television.
However, we understand that a total cut-off from these will only add to your distraction as you will always be eager to check your phone or take a sneak peek at the television and thus will not be able to devote your entire concentration to studies. So, make such a time table where you include phone and TV breaks. But, during the study session, you cannot afford to get swayed by distraction because once you are distracted while studying, you lose your train of thought and as a result, you cannot focus on the subject matter.
So, before starting the study session, make sure that you are away from your phone and TV and in a quiet place.

  • Use meditation, yoga, and music to fight stress: The stress of preparation for JEE, one of the most challenging competitive exams of the country can be daunting and is bound to cause stress and anxiety among students. So, students are advised to meditate and perform yoga to lower their stress levels. In addition to this, students can also choose to play soft background music in the background to help them focus better. But choose music without lyrics otherwise, it may have the opposite effect and may distract you further.

If students can develop these traits outlined by our experts in this study habits chart, we are sure that they will be able to witness a massive improvement in their academic performance. We are here for further help. We have brought for you study materials for JEE, which you can use for inching closer towards your goal of cracking any exam.

But who discovered and coined the term ‘cells’?  Let us explore. The discovery of cells was first made by Robert Hooke.
