What is our opinion on new CM of UP Yogi Aditya Nath

When Mr Narendra Modi was appointed as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001, he had no experience of governance. He did not have any experience in the electoral politics. He had never been a MLA or MP. However, he had long experience working with RSS and BJP cadre and his administrative potential was assessed by the BJP and RSS top brass before giving him the reign of BJP in Gujarat. The experience has shown that the decision of the BJP was right as only 13 years later, he became the PM of the country and BJP got a massive mandate under his leadership.

Yogi Adityanath has much longer experience in the electoral politics. He was the youngest member of the 12th Lok Sabha at 26. Thereafter , he had been elected as an MP from Gorakhpur to the Lok Sabha in 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014 elections. He thus has long experience in politics as a Member of Parliament and his repeated election shows that he is one of the most popular leader of Uttar Pradesh. His popularity as a Mahant (religious leader) cuts across all the castes in UP, which makes him the most acceptable leaders within the BJP.

UP is extremely important for BJP because the PM and HM are from UP. If BJP fails to perform well in the 2019 Parliamentary election, it can’t form its government in center. BJP had to bring the best person as the CM of the UP.

We have to wait and see the performance of Yogi Adityanath as the CM of UP.

I hope that he does well and fulfills the wishes and aspirations of the people of UP.
