Indian Air Force conducts the Exam for Group X & Y for the selection of airmen. It is a national level examination which is conducted twice a year. Indian Air Force Group X & Y are the personnel below officer rank in the Indian Air Force; they are also known as Airmen. The Exam is conducted for young undergraduates(10+2 passed) who are looking for an opportunity to join the Indian Air Force.

Tips to Prepare 

Know the Syllabus: A battle can be won only if you are aware of the Battlefield and surroundings. In any competition, Exam is your Battlefied and syllabus is your map to crack the examination. It is very important to remember the entire syllabus. 

Previous year Questions: An aspirant must be aware of the type of questions asked in the examination. It helps the aspirant to understand what to read and not to read. Most of the students neglect this part but make sure you keep these points before starting preparations.

Prepare a Study Plan: It is essential to prepare a study plan to cover the entire syllabus in a competitive examination. Prepare a study plan, including all important topics related to the examination.

 

Choice of Study Material: If you go to the market, you will find out many books or study material related to the examination. Candidates generally confused to select the study material, end up in a confused state. They either have study material with an excess of information, not relevant from the exam point of view or with less information, not sufficient to crack the Exam. You have to choose the right study material for you. For this, you can take the help of anyone who has cleared this Exam or a faculty who help the students in preparation. If you do not have any of these resources, you can go to the internet and check the toppers strategy and the study material required for this examination.

 

Maintain Consistency in Studies: The reason behind the failure of students to crack any competitive exams is lack of consistency. The students start their preparation with a lot of enthusiasm. Still, over a while, they lose interest in studies and stop taking the Exam seriously leading to failure to crack the Exam. To maintain consistency, candidates need to follow their study plan religiously as well as they have to find out the ways to motivate themselves. The motivation could come from toppers blogs, inspirational videos, success stories etc.

 

Regular Revision and Practice Mocks: It is the key to crack this examination. The regular revision will help you to remember the concepts for a longer time and mocks will help you to find out your weaknesses.
